Those living together...What are you registering for?

We have been living together for almost 3 years and in that time we have acquired a lot of things on our own.

We definitely need some new things like pots and pans, bathroom towels, but I can't think of what else.
A lot of what we have is till good and we don't have the space to store things. I already have some family witht heir hands out for my old stuff.

I wish you could register for appliances or electronics. Can you?

So if you are living together, what are you registering for??????????

I was wondering..Is Fortuneoff a fortune?

It seems like they have everything there, but I don't want to make my family and friends spend a lot.

I have never really shopped there. I always though tit was too expensive. I bought our first Christmas tree there, but i wasn't aloud to look around much because F I was in a mood .

Fortunoff's is cheaper than if you were to register @ Macy's. I plan on registering at Fortunoff's. I also registered @ BBB

Lots of our stuff is hand-me-downs, or just old, so we're registering for a lot. If you don't need a lot of stuff, maybe you can register for your honeymoon!

we don't really have 'good stuff'. We have stuff to get by with but isn't going to last us for the long haul. We are registering for nice casual china, crystal glasses/vases, nice silverware, pots/pans, etc.

We have been living together about 8 months now and have been using a lot of hand me downs. I registered for new pots and pans, a down comforter, a Dustbuster, a microwave, toaster, crock pot, waffle maker, china, some crystal stuff and frames. I also asked for some kitchen gadgets I don't have yet, new towels, sheets, stemware, and the cake server and toasting glasses for the wedding too.

we are registering for everything ~ when we bought our house...I lived on my own and when he started his company and moved back home with his parents... so alot of my house stuff is pass on or cheapy... so we are putting things the 'we chose' together....

Of course you can register for appliances and electronics. We have been living together for a year and registered for alot. We need to replace our toaster, vaccuum, blender etc. Then we also registered for new bedding, bathroom, espresso machine, hand mixer and things like that. It's also nice to get a new crystal vase and bowl. And what about china? People will want to get you gifts for your shower, so you might as well replace what you have. I registered at Crate & Barrel, Macy's and Fortunoffs.

We only moved in together around 6 months ago and we sort of acquired a bunch for hand me downs and basically have been living with one frying pan...two pots one huge one and one tiny one just because I knew we would be saving money by waiting till my shower so I registered for basically everything at Linens and Things
