I want to do this and haven't decided if I want to do a box that looks like stacked presents or a photocube. I have the directions and what materials I'll need for the photocube already. Where can I get those boxes for the stacked presents?

Ahhhhh, something I know something about!!!
I got my boxes at Michaels and they have TONS of cardboard or light wood boxes. I got the 'hat box' ones because they are round. Even though I have 2 tiers of stacked boxes, the cards only can go in the top one since I didn't cut out the bottom of the top box -- but you can
I painted it with paint I got at Michaels and to keep the tops from coming off the boxes I hot glued them down and then did a bow around them

wow funny you posted this...I'm actually going to michaels today to get supplies for this. You can get hat boxes, michaels should have diff sized boxes for crafts too...or www.thecontainerstore.com is the perfect place to get them.
I'm thinking about going into a side business making them.

I was just in Michaels on Sunday and they said they dont have any hat boxes right now, coming in a few weeks. (Michaels in Westbury)

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about this today too. I'm doing a Christmas theme, so I'm going to make the cardbox look like a Christmas present.

The Container store isn't far from my office. Although I rather not carry boxes on the train home!

i just got back from the michaels in oceanside...they have NOTHING! I went in with a merch credit for $50 something buxx and still left with nothing...cardstock doesn't come in my colors, line was too long to wait for just one batch of yarn, didn't like the stuff in the wedding section.

bottown to top Diaper box, honey comb box, small gift box, envelope box and a glue dots box!!!!!!!!! i love it lol
