those of you doing place cards/invites etc your self

I am doing some of this myself. I made the STD's. And got the magnets for them from Ebay. Altho -- I shoulda read the post more carefully. The vendor is in ISRAEL

My friend (& MOH) is doing the invites, place cards and etc.. but I get to help!! We are using a combination of softwares. Photoshop 7, Printmaster 12, and something I found online at Ed-It.com. It's pretty cool. It has presets for different paperstock. 6 built in fonts. It keeps track of responses, gifts, thank yous,table arrangements, names and address. The wedding version is 30.00

Basically I searched online and culled what I liked from many invites. My friend is combining aspects of everything and I'll see her ideas over the next few weeks. I still have to decide on paper stock and color once we have a proof I like.

If you search on GOOGLE for 'free fonts' a gazillion sites come up. Some are free, some are shareware. Be careful of these though. Sometimes the individual letters are not always created correctly. Trial and error here!
