How horrible was it??? I dont wanna do it at all we are getting married in March and we are taking the clss in January. What I am most scared about it the foccus test?? So honestly how bad was it??

The FOCCUS test wasn't bad at all... it actually was very interesting to see which questions FH and I answered differently. It also opens up some topics that you may not have discussed before... it was a little weird meeting at a strange couple's home (just us and them) to talk about our relationship, but it was only 45 mins or so and we were outta there. In January we start the actual pre-cana sessions... I'm a little nervous about it but overall it sounds like most people do get something out of it. Good luck!!

we don't have to do pre-cana but i've heard it's not as bad as everyone expects. we are having a meeting with the rabbi doing our ceremony, and i'm a little nervous. not sure if he's going to grill us on stuff or if we're just going to discuss the ceremony or whatever...

We had sooo much fun at Pre Cana.....We loved our group and loved the leaders.....It was really very interesting....I was sooo scraed at first but then I realized it is just like an open forum discussing all things that could and do happen in marriages....HTH!!!

I just started a week ago yesterday and it was great! The FOCCUS survey was 156 questions and some of them are funny. The couples were sitting across the room looking at each other and laughing for some of them. It's fun and go into it thinking it will be fun...it goes fast! I have my first official at-home class this upcoming Sunday and I can't wait!

the fuccus test is a joke. Its dumb. they are not going to tell you that you cant get married. its just for you to see what areas the 2 of you differed on and to tell you that those are the things you should discuss..
Precana for us was silly and a waste of our time. we didnt get much out of it and we really did have an open mind. some people loved it. the worst its going to be for you is a annoying. there is nothing to worry about - absolutely nothing!!! its something you just have to do.

My FH & I both enjoyed pre-cana very much so. We are kind of sad it is over now. We just got our certificate on Sunday. We were with two other couples & they were very nice. There is no reason to be worried.
