Those Taking LIRR to GTG

I was wondering how many of us will be taking th LIRR from Penn Station to Deer Park for the GTG. I was thinking that maybe we could meet in Penn Station and get on the train together. Let me know what you think.

I think its a great idea.

I will be taking the train from Penn to Long Beach, and then driving out, unless anyone is driving back to LB.

I'll be taking a train as well. I suggest to meet just outside of the Duane Reade on 32nd and 7th entrance. It has worked for me as far as finding/meeting people all the time.

A while ago Octbride suggested that we take the 5:53 train that gets us into Deer Park at 6:55. I think that is a perfect train time. I was thinking, why not meet next to the information booth in Penn Station, this way in case it is raining or snowing we do not get wet. I will keep track of who is going to be meeting so this way we have an approximate number of girls that are meeting us.

Where exactly is the information booth? I dont know anything about the LIRR.

I am thinking about going but since I live in Westchester I have to see if I can get home..why not meet in front of Charlie O's and it is right near the tracks...i have to talk to the hubby tonight to see if he wants to go out with his parents who live in Plainview..i have to see...

I might take the LIRR to Deer Park or go to Ronkonkoma to get my car first. I am undecided????? Does anyone live out by Ronkonkoma????

I will be going and I am still debating whether or not to take the train, but since so many is coming out of Penn I might just join the merry bunch. Meeting by the info booth sounds great

I am most likely going to take the train as well....trying to get FH to pick me up though! I'm in Little Neck, so I can't take the LIRR back!
