Those Taking LIRR to GTG

I was wondering how many of us will be taking th LIRR from Penn Station to Deer Park for the GTG. I was thinking that maybe we could meet in Penn Station and get on the train together. Let me know what you think.

I am going to take the train, too. I think the info booth is better than Charlie O's b/c the bar is right in the walkway - and its a madhouse during rush hour. Another spot is in front of the police booth by the waiting room (less crowded). I won't be taking the train home - I'm going to stay at my parent's on LI that night.

Shamma, thanks for the bump.

As of now, we will all meet next to the information booth about 5:40-5:45. Most of us know each other from the Midtown GTG, so I do not see it being a problem finding each other.

nylisa...i think i will be meeting up with everyone at penn also...can you FM me the info...where to meet, etc....i don't know anyone really & haven't taken the train from Penn before...

how are we getting to the restaurant from the station?

Leap, as of now we are going to be meeting next to the information booth in Penn Station. With you included, we have 15 girls taking the LIRR to Deer Park. I will confirm with everyone as we get closer ot the GTG.

People should make sure they get there in enough time to buy a ticket if not then you will have to pay $2.00 more on the train... if anyone wants me to buy it in advance let me know.. i work 3 blacks from Penn and get out of work at like 5..So just let me know

i'm in midtown also...i willbe leaving my office by 5pm as well...
