I generally opt for BLEACH and only bleach...But after a slight mishap, let's just say that this Peanut is staying away from the bleach for a while...

Clean freak here that also uses Lysol. BTW - stay away from bleach. It is extremely bad for you.

OMG! Yeah my mom has had problems with the fumes too. DOn;t mix bleach and ammonia. Glad you're feeling better. The lysol is really great.

Lysol and/or Pine Sol....Kaboom and Oxy Clean (all versions of it)....Orange Glo for my kitchen cabinets, and the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for stubborn stains. For things that 'everyone touches' like the phones, keyboards, etc... I use alcohol swabs.

what are you cleaning?
For the bathroom I use Lysol Bathroom disinfectant stiff.
For the floors I use wet swiffers
For shelves and stuff (not wood) I use Fantastic

Just as an FYI one drop of bleach on you will destroy all the good bacteria in your gut. This is why I don't even use chlorine in the pool. Stay away from bleach! Okay, off of my soap box!

Personally I like Formula 409. Or that orange cleaner.
however I would like to start using something more environmentally friendly. But most of the environmentally friendly stuff never seems to work very well.

Okay, back on the soap box for one more thought. You never want to mix ammonia and bleach right? Well, many clean their toilets with bleach right? Well, what is in urine? Okay it's gross but ammonia is in urine. Not a good combination, right?

I use oxyclean as well. It's awesome! I hate using bleach, I will never go back to using it now that I use oxyclean. You can even use it to clean spots on the carpet. That's my biggest problem with bleach, I always ruin my clothes with it. That and I have an asthma attack when using it.
