We are actuallly having ours on a Thursday next August. We discussed it with our parents first and they were fine with it. Like someone else said, those who are going to come, will still come, even though it is a Thursday. We got a great deal on our RH and on the Photographer b/c it's a Thursday night (i'm paying 1,000 less for the same package, same photographer as my friend who is getting married on a Saturday.) Also, we decieded on a Thursday rather than a Sunday because then people only have 1 day of work to get through, not an entire week if they didn't take off. Almost every vendor I have spoken to has said that Thursday is the new Friday. Good luck!!!
I totally agree that's what we said about only hving the ond day to recover..I've been to plenty of sunday night weddings & had to be up for work so we figured just make it one day instead of a week! & our DJ saved us so much $ because it's a Thursday night I wanna say almost cut our package in half! Any amount of $ that is saved just worked for us!
