Good Morning Ladies!! the week is almooooooost done!
Today's QOTD has to do with when we are all married.
What do you think the biggest adjustment is going to be during married life? or do u think nothing will change??
The biggest adjustment for me is going to be actually living with him. We've been away for a few days at a time and whatnot but actually living together is going to be wayyy different i think. Another adjustment i think i'm gonna have to get used to is having one checking account... i think its gonna be a little weird for me because now i have my own account and do what i want and spend it on whatever i need.... i guess thats gonna change soon too.....

Definitely adjusting to living together. While we've gone on vacation and stay at each other's apartments throughout the weekends, living with someone 24/7 is going to be quite the adjustment, since I've lived on my own for 6 years and he's lived on his own for about 5 years.
It's gonna be interesting!

I think our biggest adjustment will also be living together. Yes, we have vacationed for several days and weeks at a time, but we both haven't lived on our own, or with each other for that matter (except when he was stationed on active duty for the Coast Guard, which doesn't count lol)
Also, this is a personal adjustment I will have to go through is cooking and cleaning and all of the rest for myself. Living at home has been great buttttt I am sure it has spoiled me a tremendous amount. I guess i to start getting used to cleaning and cooking because right now, I have no idea what I am doing!

It will also be living together. Although we pretty much do already at my Mom's house having our own place is going to be completely different.

we've been living together for so long... so it will be nothing new there... i think having children of our own will be the biggest adjustment

Also for us, it will definitely be living together. We will probably be moving in together either just before or just after the wedding - so it will be a huge adjustment for us.

I don't really think there will be a big adjustment after we get married since we live together. I think the big adjustments will come when we have a baby (which we want to do right away). I don't really see things changing when we are married, except I will have his last name, and he will FINALLY have health insurance through me. hahaha
I can't wait to make it official, but I feel like we are married already! I know it will be exciting to call him my husband!! :)

we have been together almost 7 years and living together almost 3 of those so i dont think anything major will change.
the biggest thing i think is finances. we keep a lot of our money separate now but once we are married we will keep most of our money together. so i think that might be somewhat of an adjustment

I don't think much will change. The only thing that will is merging our finances. We're actually going to open a joint account on Friday.

We have been living together for almost a year I think the biggest change will be having a new name - I'll be 30 in may and this has been my name for 30 years, to be called something else will be strange. . . . I think!

we live together, so nothing will really change. Altho, it will be nice to be done with the stress of buying a house and planning a wedding... so we may be able to relax a little once we are married having those big expenses out of the way! then kids will change the whole things when that happens!

Well we're moving in together in March (hopefully!!) so we'll probably still be adjusting to that.
It will be a big adjustment for my students to call me a different last name
and of course, eventually

definitely having joint money. even though we live together my dad still supports me financially (only for a couple more months!!!) so we still very much split things so that FH doesnt end up supporting me while I don't make any money. getting out of that pattern of 'your turn to pay for this or that' will be an adjustment. also, having kids.

everyone says that things are going to change dramatically...but i'm not sure how. we've been living together for years, we have a joint bank account...so i see us making an adjustment to which will happen hopefully soon after the wedding...but not really until then. who knows, though? maybe it will be harder than we think.

Nothing has changed for us, we were already living together before the wedding, so there was no adjusting. Its actually less stressful now, because were not planning the wedding
