Re: Tiara and Veil

My tiara was $60 at Tri-County and my veil was $365 from Bridal Reflections. Actually though, the veil was FREE because I won a gift certificate for $450 to Bridal Reflections at one of the LIW GTG!
My cathedral veil is $150 - a seller on eBay is making it for me.

Mine has Swarovski crystals...

So does mine all along the edges. My mother also paid for mine and insisted that I needed it with my dress. It was the first one I saw and I had no clue how much veils should be. I just have to say that she paid a ridiculous amount for it. FM me if you want to compare. I am embarrassed tosay how much. I am going to feel soooo guilty if I don't wear it all night.

I was lucky, I'm using my mother's tiara from her prom. Something old or borrowed.

my tiara and veil come out to 250. But they are both beautiful! a three tier elbow length veil and a tiara made of crystals and rhinestones on a comb.

Re: Tiara and Veil

This thread about tiara and veil prices may make you feel a little better. There is a very wide ranges of prices for both of these accessories. (I bought my tiara at Kleinfeld, it is by Winters and Rain and cost $500. They gave me my veil for free.)

Re: Tiara and Veil

The veil I liked at the bridal shop was over $200!
I found a similar one online for $90 I think.
(cathedral)

I found a headpecie onlien that I love that costs about $300!
that's what my friend paid for hers at Kleinfelds.
I will probably get a different one, that was closer to $100.

My mom is also being generous, and doesn't want me to settle, but I feel guilty spening that much on it.

i was actaully quite proud of the veil find, but I realy do like the $$$ tiara more.

I got both my veil and tiara (with Saworfski crystals on tiara only) on Ebay. $25 for each item. Can't beat that with a stick!

Re: Tiara and Veil

I agree with Justinsbabie32 'It depends on who makes it and what its made of'

All the ones that I was looking at (Denise Leli) were up-there in price, but the one I got (not Denise Leli someone else) had A LOT MORE WORK on it and my veil its a 2 tier elbow length - nothing on it.

Re: Tiara and Veil

My wonderful sister bought my veil for me it came to I think $260. It doesn't even have a tiara just a comb with some pearls and crystals, but then I had them scatter some crystals on the veil also. But I know what you mean, I bought a tiara for my flowergirl, who will be my stepdaughter, and I spent way too much. But at the time I loved it and couldn't resist. But I may take the advice I found on here and make some jewerly from it when we're done with it.

Re: Tiara and Veil

Don't feel bad, my GF spend $450 on her tiara. I guess it depends on who makes it and where you buy it.

Personally, I just can't justify spending that much on a tiara.

I haven't looked for a veil yet but what would make a veil cost $300-1000? Isn't a veil basically tulle or some similar fabric?

It depends on who makes it and what its made of Mine was a bit pricey but its all hand made of sworvorski crystal and pearls I also did some changes to mine and mine to can be made into jewelery later on Its by Denise Leli and she is like the Vera Wang of Headpieces I know I spent a lot on my but it will forever be a keepsake. youn can buy a VW or you can buy a BENZ My headpiece will forever be in pictures so I spent alot on the gown to I am now looking for a pair of Jimmy Choo Shoes which my mom says I'M crazy because you dont see them but they are magnificent. WHAT EVER FLIPS YOUR BOAT

That is who makes mine too!!! ANd mine has the pearls and crystlas AND i too made changes
