Tiffany Lucida Ring

I am thinking of changing my setting....I know quite a few of you girls have the princess-cut, lucida style ring....does anyone have a shot of it on their finger? Curious to see how it looks 'for real!' Thanks!!!!

I have a tiffany lucinda...but i dont think i have a photo of it on my finger on the net.

It also depends on the size of the stone. A 1ct (what i have) will look a lot different than a 2ct. Or the size of the girl...my ring on my stubby finger will look a lot different than the same ring on a slender hand. And lastly, i think the company that makes it changes it too b/c tiffanys ring is copyrighted, the companies that make similiar ones have to be slightly different so they all look slightly different.

Ok, that was a lot of talking when all you wanted was a photo..

Sonicstef is 100% right on that one! A good friend of my family has worked at Tiffany's for years & I wanted to do the same thing - have it reset. A few things you need to know:

- they only rest Tiffany stones & they require the original paperwork on the stone
- the Lucida setting was designed for Tiffany's by a designer called D.Vatche
- D.Vatche company makes a setting - the X prong - which is probably the closest you'll get if you have your heart set on the original Tiffany's one.
- D.Vatche will reset a stone (as long as the integrity of the stone is good) but you need to go through one of their vendors.

I used Barry & Judah from Supeb Cert. They were great to work with! I was working with an heirloom stone from my grandmother (a 1ct. oval harry winston) so I had this appraised, insured & even did that stupid gemprinting before hand. Afterwards I had it all checked out & I got the stone back polished to an even better quality & the appraiser was very impressed by how secure the setting was. Mine is the X-Prong Roundw/Channel Cut stones on the side - but the center is oval not round.

Oh! And with D.Vatche you get a lifetime guarantee on the setting, free sizing (up or down) as much as you want & free polishing/checking the prongs & setting whenever you want

Thanks guys! I know Tiffany's will only work with their own stones, I am really just interested in a similar style. SonicStef is right about the carat weight too...maybe my 2.25 carat princess cut would look too overbearing for that sort of setting...ugh I don't know, maybe I will just leave things be:):):)

I have a 2ct.+ oval on a Lucida style setting.
I really do have fingers! I don't know why I have them bent like that though!!
