TIME BETWEEN CEREMONY & RECEPTION

Okay, here's my problem. My ceremony is at 3:00PM in Floral Park (ceremony only 1/2 hour 45 minutes max). My reception starts at 7:00PM in Howard Beach, Queens. My FH is from Westchester. Is it our responsibilty to find something to do, or someplace to go for his whole family (approx. 20-25 people) after the ceremony ends? During this time the bridal party will be taking pictures at a different location. Any and all input and opinions would be greatly appreciated! Good luck to all!
