So my wedding is at the venue at 6 PM. We plan to meet before to take pictures (around 2:45 PM). Say we are leaving my parents house at 2:40 PM and it only takes 5 minutes to get to where we are meeting FH.
How long should I alot for pictures at my parents house with my sisters, parents, and BMs? I would like pictures with them, obviously, but don't want to go nuts - want plenty of time for pictures with FH and the whole gang, and don't want pictures all afternoon.

you will be surprised how fast time goes, and you dont even realize it...
we took pictures after our church before our reception...church ened at 3:30 got to the picture site at like 4:00 and before you know it, the photographers were like ok you gotta get to the hall!! we got to the hall at like 6:15 ish, but litterally felt like we were taking pictures for 5 mins!!!

It depends on how many pictures you want and how many families. We left about 2.5-3 hours for pictures and wound up being done early! And we definitely didn't rush. We got all the pics we wanted of my family, 2 sides of DH's family, our bridal party and our extended families (aunts and uncles and grandparents).

I know I will have a few hours for family pictures with FH and I together, but how long did you girls leave for pictures of you with just your girls and parents - no entire bridal party, just the girls. Is 45 minutes enough for that? I'd rather less time for those pictures and more with the whole BP
