if i'm going to someones home for a make trial how much do i tip?

hmmmm, while I'm a big advocate for tipping I did not tip for my trials. I had to travel to them, the trials were not cheap and they get to keep all the money anway. However, if the trial was at a salon, was really inexpensive or free, then I would tip - probably $20-$30.

if it's a $50 makeup trial in your home, do you need to tip? $50 is a lot of money, and she'll be keeping it all... am i wrong to not tip?

I tipped $5 for my make up trial. I went to her, and it was $45. A tip is just a nice gesture, and completely voluntary.
