What??! I've never heard of a florist discussing a tip...A tip is perfomance based and at the discretion of the customer - how dare they even mention a tip to you!!

With that attitude I personally wouldn't give them anything, but it is generally 'suggested' that you give $10 per setup/delivery person.

I agree, that's rude! Before my wedding, my DJ company told us the standard tip was 15%, in our case that would've been $450 because we had a $3000 package with them. I only gave them $20 each for the MC, DJ & lighting tech, that's really all they deserved. Most of my vendors I only gave $20-$30 each.

Don't ever let a vendor make you feel like you need to give a certain amount for the tip...I can understand when you eat at a restaurant giving 15-20% because the waiters make only a few bucks an hour. But I'm sure these wedding vendors pay their staff a more than adequate wage, based on the thousands of dollars we all have to shell out for our weddings.

There is plenty of info out there for standard tipping. google it and lots of info will come up.

Vendors like DJ's should get about $25/pp

The florist shouldn't get anything directly, but $5-$10/pp is reasonable for anyone who delivers and sets up for you.

The photographer shouldn't get a tip because you are going to be paying for their service afterwards.

18% gratuity is included for the wait staff, busboys, and bartenders at my event, but not for the maitre 'd, so I plan on tipping him and my bridal attendant 2% each for their services.

You are not requiered to tip anyone. A tip needs to be earned. it is at your discretion. Its rude for them to tell you what to tip. I tipped my flower deivery person $20. I thought that was more than enough- I didn't have ceremony flowers from them. Just personals.

I know. I was totally shocked when they put that letter with the invoice. I spent 11K on flowers. That means I would have to tip btwn 200-300?
I was offended by the letter.
