Tipping...

Tipping...

Do I tip my harpist that is playing for our ceremony?
Also, do I tip my florist (who owns her own business) as she is delivering the flowers herself.

Here is what I have so far as people to tip:

DJ/MC
Photographer
Maitre De
Captain
Bridal Attendant

We're going to toss the florist $10 if they get everything to the right place at the right time.

I believe if they own the company, you do not tip

I also have a question, if you are paying a gratuity for your recpetion hall, who does that go to? Do you still have to tip the banquet manager or bridal attendant?

I personally would not think to tip the Banquet manager... they usually get a commission for booking the party.

The Bridal Attendant is NOT included in the gratuity, and the Maitre'D usually isn't either.

Jen,

Yes if gratuity is included that only goes to the bartenders, waiters and waitresses. It does not go towards the bridal suite attendant or maitre de.

i dunno, you dont see the photo or video til after the wedding so its tough to tip them.. some people have their wedding, think their photographer did a good job and then hate their pics...
