Tipping

Hey ladies!
Is there a general rule of thumb for tipping florist, DJ, photographer and videographer? Our venue tip is already included in our package....but what do you generally tip other vendors??? I don't think I accounted for that in our budget and I'm worried now!

You do! Florist I'm doing only $20 if we see them. Dj $100. Photo & video $100 main person, $50 assistant

MC $100
Percussionist $100
Photographer $100 each $50 for lighting assist.
Videographer $100
Flower delivery $20 at his house $20 at my house
Limo driver 20% of bill
Photo booth attendant not having one
Alter Boys $10 each
Maitre'd Venue suggests $3-$5pp
Bridal Attendant $150

Probably around $1k to $1500 in tips day of.. Yowza!

Don't forget hair and makeup.. 15-20% of bill!

Tipping

Hair $40 (that's 20% of the bill since it's just me and my mom)
Makeup $40 (that's 20% of the bill since it's just me and my mom)
Flowers $25 delivery
Favors $25 delivery
Officiant $25
DJ $100
Photographer $100
Wedding Attendant $100
Wedding Captain $100
Maître d’ $500 cash tip ($4pp only having 120)
Photobooth Attendant $50pp = $100

Total - $1155

Everything is subject to change especially if something doesn't go right etc.

I was really confused about the tips as well. I used this guideline provided by my DOC and went by there. I've attached the list. Hope it helps.

I tipped my Photographer 150.00, and my video 125.00,The officant should be paid 75.00. The dj's I tipped 150 all together. The matre di I tipped 4 dollars a head, and the bridal attendant 125.00. Becomes crazy after a while but these people are with you all day and they deserve it! I loved my photo and video so much I think I was actually going to give them more lol.
