when i get my hair done, i get my color done by the owner of the salon. i know that some say you shouldn't tip the owner or whatever, but i always do. but anyway, do you guys usually tip 20%???
my colorists costs me lots of hundreds if you know what i mean, and i usually give her more than 20%.....just a question

I used to work at a salon and the owner did get tipped sometimes, but not all the time,.he definatley didnt exoect a vtip and whatever he got, he was excited about..and this was ina very NICE place in NJ..In Chatham. My guess is tip what you feel is necessary. As the owner, he pockets ALOT! I do color my hair..and let me tell ya..My sister is astylist, sos he buys my color for me at Emilianis..for a years worth of color.it cost me 60 bucks!!!!! That tells you how much they make off of coloring your hair!!!!!
