Getting married in 2 1/2 weeks! And I got tons of questions now!!!
How much are you tipping the Maitre D at your wedding?
ETA: Someone brought up a good ? Do you tip waiters/waitresses too? Or does the Maitre D tip out?
The RH told me btw $600-$1000 Is that absurd?!
I was thinking more like $400. And I believe that's what she originally told me.. that's what I had that number stuck in my head..otherwise I never would have known.
What are you going to tip? Have you asked your RH what the norm is?

I thought it was $3-5 dollars per person.. we are tipping $400 and calling it a day!!!

tipping the maitre d is up to you...waiters/waitresses are included in that add'l gratuity charge they add on.....

You know it just seems like people want to nickel and dime you when you are having a wedding! a 20% service at any other restaurant would go to the waitstaff. Ughhhh this makes me mad
