The hall set up a basic guideline for them, but we are confused with everyone else..is it a 20% like you normally would at a rest? or 2 -3 per person???

We are tipping everyone 20% or 3-5 pp but i think tipping is up to you, it is at your discression and you tip according to how well was their service.

I wasn't going to tip flowers becasue they are not setting up anything -- just delivering the cp's and bouquets -- and they've already tacked on a 'delivery charge' I think if they were setting up or decorating I would tip 20%

We are going to tip our DJ, etc at least $50 pp. on the night of our wedding, more if we think an exceptional service has been provided. It isn't the same type of tip you would pay the maitre'd ($2-3 pp etc). I have heard of brides tipping less and more than this pp..it really does depend on the service provided. There was a really good tip thread on here a little while back. I don't know how to bump it (clueless ) but if you do a search on tipping you should be able to find it easily

Just hypothetically speaking, what will happen to you if you don't tip?
Like will a mob of vendors be knocking at your door asking, what was wrong with the service, why didn't you tip me?
My best friend was just joking about this with me, when we where 13 we ate a restaurant by ourselves and where really curious what would happen if we didn't tip. We paid, left one penny behind, went out the door, walked half a block.
The waiter come running after us, stops us, 'Was there anything wrong with the service?' We were scared to death, we said do you want five dollars, because thats all we have left.
Anyway, since then I've been tipping well, but just curious if the whole mob of them are going to chase after the limo when I drive away... lol
Has anyone every forgotten to tip, at their wedding?
