TiVo question

if you pay per month its $12.95 or you can pay $299.00 and you get service for the the lifetime of the tivo. I would be careful getting the lifetime services because it is specific to the tivo system and if something breaks on the tivo and you need a new one you lose your 300 bucks and have to get a new subscription.
