TMI!!! I have a very personal question to ask (TMI!!!)

If you don't want to respond, that's fine, I just don't have anyone else to ask.

The last couple of days I have had a different discharge. It's been very watery, and a slightly different color (no odor). And just a little while ago, I saw a spot in my underwear that is blood. Nothing huge, but when you haven't seen blood down there in all these months, you pick up on these things right away! Should I call the doctor? According to the books I have it says it's some kind of 'show'??? And that labor usually starts within 24 hours but might not start for a few days? HELP!!! I thought the 'show' part of it would be a lot more than what I saw...

I don't want to call my DH yet to update him unless I have to.

I am sorry I dont' know the answer to your question - but for your own ease of mind I would call the doctor just to be safe. I hope all is well.

It could be your mucus plug. Don't worry....it sounds normal!

Sounds like someone should be having the baby in the *very* near future! It is probably the very early stages of labor.

I agree w/the other ladies...sounds like the normal progression of your body preparing for labor! Here comes your little guy....maybe in time to be baby New Year!!!

If you weren't pregnant, I would say it sounds like a yeast infection, but I don't know if you can or can't have one when you're preggo. I would call the doctor asap.

Yeah... No baby yet! I guess he likes it where he is. Today I'm 38 weeks. I guess he can come anytime he wants from now on? I did end up going to hospital to get checked though to see if I was leaking fluid, and I wasn't. I'm 2 centimeters dialated and 90% effaced though. I could have him tomorrow, or I could have him 2 weeks from now. We just have to wait and see. Thanks for asking!
