Good luck and 's over your job. I'm glad I didn't go into it. I see how the trend is becoming, where more and more HR Dept's are being replaced by self-service websites That's what happened to ours and they just took the picture down of the entire department off the wall. Very depressing

Should've told me that BEFORE I got my master's in HR! Good luck with the teaching! And I am glad I didn't make the switch to HR.

UGH I hate when people stop by to fill out long and detailed paperwork without even calling me first. I was on the phone w my DH and this guy brings a freelancer by and they are standing there staring at me. No appt or anything. I of course hung up with my DH, which is fine, but at least call first!

I am so done with this.

Is it really that bad?? I was thinking of possibly trying to get into HR, but after seeing so many posts about how you guys who are in HR hate it, I am second guessing myself now. Well thank you for the advice, now it gives me something to think about
