TO BOOK OR NOT TO BOOK

HEY ALL IM PLANNING A MAY 2009 WEDDING AND AM CONSIDERING BOOKING AT THE BEACH CLUB ESTATE OR WINDOWS ON THE LAKE. HAS ANYONE BOOKED THERE? ANY ADVICE??

I looked at both. I wasn't happy with the fact that the BM was pushing us like a car salesman. My fiance swore we were not going back. Is there a reason you are booking there?

HI THANK YOU AND CONGRATS TO U TOO

I WENT TO A WEDDING EXPO THERE AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND I LOVED THE BEACH CLUB. MY FIANCE CAME THE NEXT DAY TO CHECK IT OUT AND LIKED IT ALSO. THE VIEW IS BEAUTIFUL AND THEY ARE RENOVATING IT
SO BY THE TIME OUR WEDDING ROLLS AROUND IT WILL BE BRAND NEW.
PRICE IS 70++ WHICH IS IN OUR BUDGET, BUT I ALSO FELT THAT THE BM WAS PUSHY AND A LITTLE SHIESTY THROWING PRICES OUT HERE AND THERE FOR EVERY LITTLE THING SO WE ARE TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT STILL

Welcome and congrats.... I would just say that If you don't have a wonderful feeling about I might keep looking.... Finding the right RH is like finding the right dress. When you walk in you know it's the place.

i read somewhere that the beach club estate is under renovation and the model of what its suppose to look like is GORGEOUS!

I'm a windows on the lake gal! Woo hoo! I have heard some not so geat things but I've been to a wedding there and LOVED it! And, all the planning that i've been doing so far ALL the staff there is so willing to help. Frank .. the nice one..since there are two franks workiong there LOL... kept hooking us up! We kept getting so many extras thrown in at NO extra cost. !!! So, that was awesome. None the less, they help working out with our finical situation, nd give us better deal with some other venders. They have been nothing but wonderful. I completely reccomend them! And< lastly< the hall matches my wedding!! haha>>> i'm a nerd i know. But that's not why I booked it. We both feel in love. Seemed a bit more better for us then Chatau Le Mer...

The only thing I would say is possibly think twice about getting married outdoors on the lake there...I actually live two minutes from there and trust me that road is somewhat busy and people speed up and down that road, it might be tricky crossing that street!
