We are gonna need to go to thursday night (we only have 130 people coming and maybe even less). I am fine with it but FH needs some convincing. I think if I bought him a new toy he would agree. I know he wants a GPS badly. I hope I don't handle my kids this way lol....

ooh, what is your dream hall? thurs is the new friday, i'm a law student and i go out on thursday nights it's more of a problem if you have lots of OOTers but most of our OOTers came in 5 days before the wedding anyway

If you are absolutely set against a thurs night and price isnt the issue, you can see if you can pay more pp for a lower min. Like if it was $100pp for 150 people = $15,000. If you only wanted 100 people, you could pay $150pp. I think an 08 bride did that because she was set on a place, but didnt have the #s she needed. Or, just agree to pay the $15,000 for up to 150 people, and just have whoever you have.

bridgeview is one of them yes!

I do not really want to spend the extra $$ for people that wont be there. Technicaly we could do it but every penny for the wedding comes out of our down payment on a house and thats more important to me.

Winter is out because FH teaches and he wants a long honeymoon and time to settel into married life. And sundays are a no because our pastor does not do weddings on sundays and we must have our pastor.

Why don't you do it on spring break. And not going on your HM until the summer is an option

that's what we are doing! we are totally happy with this idea try to consider this because you will save money

What are your three dream halls?

I think having your wedding over winter or springbreak s a great idea! Then you can take a long relaxing honeymoon over the summer!
