the band, that is....what is everyone doing? Our band is composed of 8 people and they get to eat at 1/2 price...i don't know if we should be paying to feed them or not...my manager told me that they can eat as much as they want for free during cocktail hour and i think vienese too....what does everyone think? for girls who are already married and had a band, what did you do?
Our vendors state it in their contracts. If it isn't stated in your band's contract then ask what they want to do. IMO, I'd feed them.

The right thing to do is feed them.
If you think about it, they'll be setting up and getting ready for the reception while everyone is at the CH... so in reality, they're really not going to be in there eating.
yes you should feed all your vendors!!!!
I think it's expected that you're feeding them as a rule of etiquette. They don't have to be served the same meal but they should receive some sort of dinner break and dinner.
