To get a limo or not to get a limo?

I am not really sure if a limo is an expense that is really necessary, what do you think? I am getting married at the same place as the ceremony and am staying at the hotel that is located on the same property as my wedding (East Wind). Is it really necessary to have a limo? We are taking pics on the East Wind property. I know FH wants to take his own car so that we will have a way to get home the next day. So if I get a limo it would be a one way ride from my house to East Wind...is it worth the approx $200 when I have to cut so many corners as is? Some people say yes, some no, and I am undecided.

Definately NOT worth it! Save your money for something else fun- like a massage, manicure and pedicure the day before your wedding.

I say wait till a month or two before your wedding and see if you have any extra money. Don't worry, there is plenty of limo companies out there and you really only need someone to bring you and the girls to east wind. I don't think booking one will be a problem in that short of notice.

You do not need one IMO. Use the $ towards something else

I would put the money towards something else...i have the same dilemma but im gonan spend the 200 bucks, cause the place im getting married at is about an hour away from my house and i want my MOH and BM's in the car with me and to be comfortable, so im going for the limo through M&V cause they only charge for the one way drop off.

I have the same issue too. We decided not to get limos and put the money towards our HM!

Are you getting ready at the hotel room before the ceremony? Or at your house?

If you are getting ready at your house and are going to the hall all dressed. Then yes i would get a limo...Nothing beats pulling up to your hall, dressed and ready..like in a limo...

I think I am probably going to get ready either at the hotel or in the bridal suite. Hair and makeup will probably be done at home. All I will do there is put the dress on.

FH and I discussed this and we both think it is silly to have a limo only because i am getting ready at the hall and our ceremony pics etc is there. We havent decided where he would want to get ready but we still have time.
