Do you think someone with credit card debt should wait to get engaged until they have paid off their debt or it doesn't really matter?

As someone who is addicted to shopping - I am glad my fiance didn't wait to get engaged - we would never get married!!!!! He knows my addiction and will try to put me on a 12 step program when we get married LOL....
