We're having a cheesecake wedding cake, and probably assorted cookies to go along with it. We were thinking of having to go containers so guests can bring their cake and/or cookies home with them.
Do you like this idea? What type of containers would be best - cake wedge shape, chinese takeout ...?

I don't think the take out boxes would work well with this. To me, it seems too messy to put cheesecake in them with cookies as well. Maybe something flat.

That would work, a take out box for the cookies (which I did for my e-party) and a different kind for the cheesecake. I just think it would be difficult to get the cheesecake out of a takeout container.

OOH!!!! Take-out containers are such a good idea!!! I'm having a full Viennese and I'm sure we're going to have a ton of leftovers! Thanks for the tip.

Maybe you should ask your hall if they have containers for such a purpose?

We don't really have a theme. The wedding is at a vineyard, so we'll tie that in a little bit, and my girls will be in navy...so navy, and maybe light green to bring the nature in and soften it a bit.

I agree with the two types of boxes...one cake wedge and one box (I happen to like the chinese take out style but a plain box wold be cute too). Personally I love cookies and cake and it would be a special treat to take something home to eat! Good idea!
