To late 4 E-Party?

WE got engaged June 17, 2007. We were suppose to have an E-Party, but since we started planning 4 the wedding right away we lost track regarding the e-party. Do u guys think it's too late for an e party and ridiculous. I just wanted something intimate w/family and the bridal party what do u guys think. I am so confused

If you are going to do it I would do it soon since you don't want to be having the eparty to close to the wedding and you are already almost a year away.

I don't think it's too late at all! If you think it'll be wierd, maybe you could just rent out a place and have a big shower later on that would be just like the e-party...that's what my family is doing...

i dont htin kits too late, your wedding isnt until a year.....you can have the e party this year, itll be fine

I don't think its too late. We didnt have an e-party basically because before I came on this website I've only been to one of them when I was a lot younger..so I never really thought of having one. We got engaged in Aug of 06 and then by the time I found out it was a common thing to do it was over a year later already so I thought it was a bit too late and I deceided to save the money to put towards the wedding.

i totally think you can have one whenever you want. i read somewhere (i can't remember where!) that your e-party should be within 3 to 4 months of getting engaged and at least 1 year away from the wedding. i don't know if i take much stock in that, but for some reason it stood out when i read it.

I didn't do an Eparty because everyone including myself thought it was too late. Now we've been engaged for a year already

If you really want one, go for it. It's definitely not too late, your wedding is still over a year away!

I dont think its too late. I got engaged in Sept and im having my eparty in April. I just figured after we got engaged it wasnt the right time since the holidays came around and then my cousin had a baby and I wanted my family from OOT to be able to make it and not have a chance of snow and also my mom works every Sat during tax season, so we waited. People put it off for various reasons, but I wouldnt wait too much longer since you are getting close to your one year mark.

You can still have your e-party. I would say have it by April; which is your 1yr before getting married date.

I do not think it too late. I think it would be nice if you do on your wedding date. That will be very cool and fun.

i think it might be a little too late but if you have your heart set on it I would def start to plan it ...I wouldnt have closer then a year to the wedding because your guests will have wedding gift and shower gift and whatever other expenses...for your wedding party they still have the shower adn the bach. party
if its not too important then I would skip it...if you really want it then do it asap.
another idea is if you just want to celebrate and have a party maybe just have something very casual and small and I wouldnt even call it an engagement party ...maybe a BBQ to celebrate pre wedding festivities type of thing ( like an excuse to have a party type pf thing) Do over the phone invites and tell people since the wedding and shower is coming up you do not expect a gift...just show p and celebrate tyoe of thing. it depends what you want

I am got engaged 9/16/07 but instread of a e party we are doing a meet and greet with just bothi side of the family and the wedding party and dicuss all detals..

FH's cousin had her e-party almost two years after getting engaged so no I dont think it's too late.
