i think it might be a little too late but if you have your heart set on it I would def start to plan it ...I wouldnt have closer then a year to the wedding because your guests will have wedding gift and shower gift and whatever other expenses...for your wedding party they still have the shower adn the bach. party if its not too important then I would skip it...if you really want it then do it asap. another idea is if you just want to celebrate and have a party maybe just have something very casual and small and I wouldnt even call it an engagement party ...maybe a BBQ to celebrate pre wedding festivities type of thing ( like an excuse to have a party type pf thing) Do over the phone invites and tell people since the wedding and shower is coming up you do not expect a gift...just show p and celebrate tyoe of thing. it depends what you want

NO! Not at all. Etiquete wise- you are supposed to have your E-Party at least 1 year before your wedding or anything close to that.

I would still do it, when the weather is nicer. We are still debating, we got engaed in September. I want to do something simple with family and close friends, backyard BBQ.

It's definitely not too late for an e-party!! You have a long engagement so it's fine plus you still have a ton of time b4 your wedding! Have one!! It was so much fun!
