i think it gets everyone on the dance floor. so if we need it (maybe like after dinner), im gonna tell the dj to do it

i used to HATE the electric slide...i ilike the chacha slide...but i do find that it is effective at bringing people young AND old on teh dance floor

i hate the electric slide (and all other party songs) ... they feel too forced to me

i'm sure it doesn't help that i don't know any of the moves and always feel left out of them

i told my DJ that i don't wanna hear any party songs ... but if enough people request a certain song, i'll consider it.

my aunts are killing me over this but i really do not want the electric slide played at the wedding... they are like 'Come ON! what's a wedding without the electric slide??' Umm a wedding that's not in the 80s? LOL

I told them there will be a group dance song being played but more up to date so I told them they better learn the Cupid Shuffle fast because that's on of the few group dance songs I will be playing LOL

I HATE the electric slide....the only dance like that that i am a fan of is the cotton eyed joe.

ITA, but i really don't like it, and i never participate when i go to a wedding, i feel like a fool going up there and trying to do that dance. Personal Opinion, NO WAY!!!!

nope, the only group dance i would consider is cotton eye joe, but I have to learn it first. For some reason I never got really learned it in high school.

Yet FH is still fighting me on this one.

My mom and my sister are trying to convince me to play this and the chicken dance!! This isn't as bad as the chicken dance but we're already doing the tarantella and also the Hoedown Throwdown (by Hannah Montana)!!!
