To Tan or not to tan...

To Tan or not to tan...

Has anyone tried mystic tan? I want to do this for my wedding rather than a tanning bed as I do not want to peel and have to have extra makeup put on(happened for my friend's wedding.
I'm scared it will rub off on my dress & I heard you may get streaky as the tan wears off.

Im scared of this too!! My friend spray tanned for her wedding a few days before. She showered with it and it faded a little, she didnt look orange. The excess came off in the shower.

I would do a trial before, just to see.

Don't do a mystic, get airbrushed. Do a trial a couple months before to see how you like it. I'd just do the lightest color. It gives a nice glow.

I do a lot of spray tanning but decided to do 2 regular tanning sessions for my wedding. I was VERY nervous about the spray tan getting onto my dress, as I have seen it do with other clothing. If you still are interested in spray tanning for your wedding I would def do some trials to see what it looks like on you.

i know its a hike but totally worth it-- i went to Gotham Glow in the city and had the most natural looking tan the day of my wedding. Ive used her 3 or 4 more times since COMPLETELY worth every penny!

Was it airbrush or mystic? I don't want my dress to stain - what if it doesn't come out?

I used to work at a tanning salon..the mystic tan does not get your hands!! You might end up with white gloves lol..I had to numerous times put my hands in the tanning bed after I sprayed. I would definitely look into getting sprayed mystic comes off fast if you sweat a lot and shower often!

i did a spray tan for my epics so I could see how it would be. I wore a white tank top and actually didn't have anything come off onto m clothes. I went to Brazil Bronze, did the express spray and 3 hours later washed it off. I had a nice natural glow

A friend of mine did the spray tan for her wedding. She loved the look but said after awhile it does sweat off and the inside lining of her dress was orange in spots but nobody else could tell. Not sure how close to her wedding she did this though.
