I have been having a conversation with FH about whether or not to wear a veil covering the face on the day of the wedding. I am currently undecided. We all know what it means by tradition. I'm just curious to know how many of you will or will not be wearing veils covering your face.

Re: To Veil or Not to Veil
i probably won;t wear one covering my face as i am walking dwon aisle by self (dad deceased) and I would have imagined him pulling it back for me that day

Re: To Veil or Not to Veil
I haven't completely decided since I haven't picked out a dress yet, but I am really leaning towards no veil on my face. I want a cathedral length veil, so I think I will just clip that to the back of my hair.

Re: To Veil or Not to Veil
I'm going to wear a veil but I don't want it covering my face. My father passed away as well and I only would do it if he was lifting the veil.

Re: To Veil or Not to Veil
I am the opposite! I thought I would be so untraditional, but I instead I ended up with a white dress and I think I actually want a veil.

Re: To Veil or Not to Veil
i didn't think i wanted one at all till i tried one while i was dress shopping and i kinda liked the fact that it somewhat gives me a little bit of back coverage and i just really felt like a bridewith it on. I'm not using a blusher on my face. I think my hair will be at least 1/2 up if not totally up so i'm thinking i'm going to have the veil under the hair in the top and put my tiera, comb, or pins whatever i finally find that i love put in the front of the hair.
but yes i will be having a veil i just have to decide if i want a fingertip length or a cathedral length that is detatchable for after the ceremony
grrrrrrrrrr i'm so bad at all these girly desisions

Re: To Veil or Not to Veil
Although I am not a huge fan of veils, religion dictates that I must wear one at least to walk down the aisle. So I am going to find something very sheer and not too long as a compromise.

I bought a cathedral veil. I'm not sure if I will be wearing a tiara though.

Re: To Veil or Not to Veil
I'm wearing a veil. I wanted a blusher also but then i started to think of shows where the dad removes the blusher and pushes it back but it never seems to land perfectly. its always sticking up on one side or something! i dont want that in my pics!
