Today
Today I was not online all day because I ran errands at school (handed in paperwork to declare my concentration in Health Law, picked up my cap and gown, hung out with one of my profs for a while) and then I went shopping and had dinner with my 2 best friends. It was a great, beautiful, relaxing day.
And I when I went to meet one of my friends at the shopping center, I was driving through the parking lot and I saw this man out of the corner of my eye. He was the SPIITTING IMAGE of my dad's cousin who passed away kind of unexpectedly a couple of years ago at Christmas time. He was like a brother to my dad and very close to me and my brothers and I still miss him all the time... and this guy looked JUST like him.
And the creepeiest part, that I didn't even notice until after I got over the shock of seeing his face... was that he was in a postal worker's uniform. My uncle was a postal carrier for almost 40 years... it was his uniform too!!
I almost lost it. I feel like someone wanted me to know that he's here, that he's seeing me graduate even if I can't see him. He was always so proud of me and my education and did everything he could to help me in college, including letting me stay in his house for a summer while I took classes and making me dinner on weekends and things like that cause he lived close to school.
It was definitely a woah moment.
