Sorry to hear this.

I really do understand what you are going through, because most of my family are OOT and I have not even sent out my invites and most people have told me they are not coming.

I am so sorry you are going through this but think of it this way- the people that really matter will be there! The rest of them well F them all- they are going to miss an amazing wedding.

Sorry mama! I have the same situation - only .. my psycho c*nt cousin who backed out of my wedding after not getting her measurements after 6 months of me begging her to, has now decided to threaten her immediate family (my aunt, uncle and cousins) that if they go to my wedding they will never speak to them again .. so they arent ... Oh yeah - she also decided to throw her 3 year old a birthday party the same day as my wedding and invite MY FRIENDS

i know how you feel tho, both my godparents arent gunna be there bc they dont want to see my fam,ily. (godfather is my uncle godmother is my moms best friend) they dont wanna see his parents and my mom. wait and my cousin their kid is a BM.... umm hello grow up!


as we all say, peoples true colors come out when u plana a weddin and thats just a shame. hang in there, the people that really wanna be there will!

ITA - Yom Kippur is our holiest day, and you have to fast. This would make sense if those family members are observant. If not, I'm sorry and your day will be fantastic anyway!

Thanks ladies! We did have 2 No's that were Yom Kippur related. I didn't realize it was Yom Kippur until a few months after i booked it. Doh!
