Today was our RSVP Deadline

We got ONE response card today.

We're missing THIRTY FIVE RESPONSE CARDS -- that's 70 people!

We're not even at 100 people coming and our minimum is 140.

Why are people so freakin' rude? We need to have our tables done by the end of this week so we can get our response cards and favor tags to the calligraphy artist.

We (my FMIL especially) have some phone calls to make!

I am in the same boat.
My response deadline is next Saturday and we are missing approximately 40 response cards= 80 people....

and I am not at my minimum either!!!!

I am more stressed about this than anything else right now!!!!

Yeah RSVPing seems to be such a difficult concept...write on the paper, put it in the envelope & in the mail box...people are just morons when it comes to this! there are so many RSVPs we never got back. hang in there!!!

Wow. People are rude. This part of the wedding process scares me so much. We have final head counts to give! Don't these ppl get it?

My RSVP was July 1st.

My minimum is 135. I got...

No 28
No response 10

No, we're calling them.

Our minimum is 140! I sure hope they're not ALL no responses.

Nearly all of FH's family hasn't responded.

Some are BP members we don't know if they're bringing dates b/c they didn't respond... UGH!

We've already started calling people.

Its herendous huh?? At our deadline we were missing like 30-40 ppl. And heck no Im not making a ton of calls, bc theyre all OOT from fh's side (who live in Alaska, and all on west coast) and I know theyre not planning on coming. FMIL already told us a while ago they won't come. They would have had to make hotel/flight plans by now and none of them have. I think its rude though, even if youre not coming, send the darn RSVP back! Some ppl are clueless!

I hope you get some more in the next few days!!

Ugh I'm sorry you have to deal with that. I'm in the same boat. I can't take the rudeness of people!!!
You'll probably get a bunch of RSVP's next week though. I got quite a few the week after my rsvp date. Hope that makes you feel a little better!

Well, I am in the same boat, my rsvp date is Thursday and I am missing about 30 rsvps and most all my family I got nothing in the mail today and its making me crazy. I feel your pain.

I am the same way. I don;'t want to leave people haning and I don;t want to miss place the card.

Ours is next Thurs. and we are missing about 25, too, date and weekend twins!! I love the best responses so far, which were...one who said they misplaced the card and sent rsvp through their mom (mind you, it's Fh's dad's gf who has a kid) and another who added a person to theirs (could end up a no...their loss!) People really are something when it comes to this...we made a potential calls list tonight and will get to it after next week...hang in there!

Our responses date was June 22nd, on that day we still had not heard from half of our guest. We had to make calls and send e-mails. In the past week I've gotten a few late ones in the mail though. Keep in mind though that as I was sitting here waiting for someone's response, when we finally called them to find out what their story was they had never recieved an invite, we had a few of these. We also had people tell us that they did send back the response but we never received it.
