We postponed our wedding as well. Originally we were to be married 10/20/07 and I thought at first that that day will depress me but the more I think about all the planning and how we can save so much more money now, I'm relieved that we postponed.
I feel for you. Treat yourself to something special today to bring your mood up.

I know, in the end and as it gets closer to my date now, i'll know that it was worth it. So when 10/20 comes, do you think you'll be upset?

And I know its going to rain, hmm come to think of it, if it pours tonight, i think that'd make me happy

I think I may be a little upset but I know I'll be happy with the fact I can save so much more. I'll probably plan a day of fun things with my fh so that we're busy and don't think about it.

FH has off today, Maybe i'll ask him to come by and go out.

I was just telling my mom how depressed I was and she said that its better because she said not to get to excited about the wedding, because once its all over and done with, thats it.. I was like well then I get to start my life with Brian.. and after being married she goes it aint that great. THank mom!

HAHAHA My parents actually set the example of why you should NOT get married

Don't be sad Remember now you have more time to save, will have less stress when the time gets closer and be able to have all the extra goodies that you might not have been able to have before. And also, now you get another date to be excited about when you hit your one year mark!

Yup!! Mine too. My parents are divorced and my mom is remarried. And my Dad just got engaged last month

1 year if we kept our original date... I know its for the better, but i still have over a year and a half now, so today I'm all depressed

I know what u mean, we changed our date from May to August.

Isnt it such a sinking feeling. I was just on the phone with FH and i said It couldve been 366 days but instead its 584!!!!
