Re: too cold for bm dresses?
Honestly , whether it's tea length or long, a dress is not much fabric and if it' cold, they'll be sold and so will you---but you won't be out long for pics! Do what works with your dress or that fits the picture in your head of what you want!

I think they'll be fine. Even if you're outdoors for ceremony, pics and CH you can get them something to cover up. I was a bridesmaid in November up in Rochester which is cold in like september!! we were cold but we took our pics outside and ****** it up!!! I think they will enjoy the fact that they can probably wear the dress again since it's tea lenght then be upset that they might be cold. I know it sounds harsh but you will make yourself crazy worrying about everyone. If you like the dress and it will look good on everyone go for it!!

Re: too cold for bm dresses?
I had to wear a strapless gown in the middle of a very cold December. We were given the option of also purchasing either a custom made jacket that went with the dress (which was very $$) or a shawl type piece of fabric. Many of us did purchase the shawls and only one person actually wore it. The rest of us all froze on the church stairs and complained, yet were okay with it at the same time.
