We got engaged in Jan, and are thinking about getting married on 9-10-11. Do you guys think it's too early to start planning? I was thinking since it's somewhat 'cheaper' because of the economy, I could get a better deal. What do you think?

It is never too early to start planning. You should check out prices because many vendors will be increasing their prices.
