Too early to register?

I don't think it's too early - a lot of people have registered already for their e-party.

FH and I aren't registering yet though - we're probably going to wait until January or February.

I registered already...its not necessary you do it now...ive been registered since December and let me tell you I get letters ALL the time from BB&B bc everytime any little thing changes on your registry they send you updates. If something is no longer available to purchase online, if it will get discontinued or whatever else, it can get annoying. I don't change anything though when i get the letters, i decided i am gonna wait until i have to change everything then rather than changing it constantly...But if you want to do it and get it out of the way then go for it

everyone told me that i should have before my e-party which was just after our one year mark... I didnt, but I kinda feel I should have. I've heard its a lot of fun so i am waiting till everything else is stressing me out maybe that will reduce the stress of the rest

Re: Too early to register?

i started a small registry. and i have more time than you.. but our e-party is in sept. so i figured it's better to at least have some stuff on there. I probably wont put my dishes or anything like that on yet cause we don't know what we are looking for right now, we also don't know what color schemes we are going with for the bedroom, bathroom..etc. but stuff for the house we could use now, like a new coffee maker, and a new blender and we'd really love a new camera and or camcorder for all the wedding stuff so we put that on there... so i'll have some stuff in different price ranges to start with. I think you are at a perfect time to register..almost 1 yr!

did you register for everything in one day? Or did you just start with some basics and add on later.. cause FH said he'd rather go to the store to look at things.. but i don't wanna go to scan like 7 items and leave... (he def. gets antsy too and since we really dont know everything we need yet, i can see it being an issue..lol)

Just looking to see if you did most of it in one shot.. and if you thought it was easier that way.. or to do it little by little over a period of time between online and in store..

we did alot in one day, we did dishes, all the kitchen appliances, even little things such as ladle's, baking pans, dishrack lol, bedroom set and so on...I have added a few things after but did it online but most we did it in the store...it can take 2-3 hours and FH was into it, i think that time frame we both were like ok we need to go eat now lol

I don't think it's early. However, keep in mind that things may get discontinued. That's why FH and I are waiting till the fall to register

theres about 10 items that aren't available online anymore, about getting discontinued im not 100% sure, i think that something may get discontinued in a few months or so but like i said i dont even read those letters anymore...in a few months i'll go over my registry and make the changes, i really don't want to deal with it constantly or to change it now and then get another letter about changes and change it all over again

Re: Too early to register?

Sure, you can do it now. We did ours in Feb. and nothing has been discontinued so far (:keeping fingers crossed:) I don't think the major stuff gets discontinued much though.

Yeah, I gave FH the scanner.....bad idea..... everytime I saw something we needed, he was off scanning some stupid-pidly or crazy thing. He had fun though and YES, I kept on all the things he scanned. He is abig kid! I gotta love em!
