Too Early To Send Save The Dates?

I'm so ready to send mine out, but my mom insists I wait until May. I know one of my date twins sent hers out last month. Some of the guests are from other states...

I don't think it's too early at all. If it makes you feel better, I got a Save the Date once 22 months in advance. My friends and I still laugh at the fact that my friend sent it out that early, haha.

It definitely isn't too early, just make sure that whoever you send them to are definitely people you plan on inviting to the wedding!

Not at all! I just sent mine out and I thought I sent them late. I don't know why anyone would think any time is 'too early' - as long as it's within a year, or even a year and a half if you've got a particularly special date, like christmas time, thanksgiving weekend, labor day, memorial day, columbus day, etc .... I think you're fine.

i sent mine out very very early.

I sent them april 2007 for my june 2008 wedding
so i sent them 14 months before.

I think people appreciated knowing our date so far advance, especially all the OOT's we also listed our website address on our STD's and people were able to visit our website and get additional info

6-9 months before is the usually. That is what they also suggest in the bridal magazines in the checklist section. I think if you have them and they are ready to be mailed out go for it!

since you are not getting married near a holiday or in the summer you should send about 6 months before.

I sent out mine in june of last year bc its a holiday weekend..so we wanted to make sure nobody made plans!
