too early to send wedding invitations?
Our wedding date is 10/16. I hear typical 6-8 weeks is the norm, we were planning closer to 10 weeks (we didn't send save the dates and the hotel accommodations need to be made ASAP). But I just received a wedding invite just shy of 3 months in advance and now I'm wondering if I should send them out a little sooner?

too early to send wedding invitations?
my wedding is exactly one year from yours!! i would do at least 2 months i plan on doing 2.5 months out maybe 3 just in case i dont meet my min. which i doubt but i like to have the extra time to do seating chart. i got my cousin invite like may 20 something and her wedding is aug 22 so did right at 3 months. i rather get it early than later

I would 2-3 months even if you didn't send save the dates. Especially if there are out of towners who need to do hotel accommodations. I thought I had enough time and it turned out the post office screwed up sending them out....ugh it was a mess! The post office is unreliable. its better too early rather than too late.

I'm doing three months. I've waited long enough! Three year engagements are hard lol

too early to send wedding invitations?
I just mailed mine out this week and my wedding is 9/26/15. I wanted to mail them out 3 weeks ago but had an issue with my first invitations and had to get them re done. I think its better to send them earlier this way like you said you have more time to work on seating chart and stuff. I do not want to be doing all of that the week before my wedding so I made my RSVP for a month and a half before.

too early to send wedding invitations?
I had the same exact question! Our wedding is 10/23 and I think i'm going to try getting them about before the end of July. The earlier the better, I think.

too early to send wedding invitations?
My wedding is on Oct 1 and I have mailed mine out this week. I'm already getting RSVPs. Almost all guests are from in NY/NJ region. Our big day falls on a Thursday so I wanted to make sure people got it at about 3 months in advance.

Re: too early to send wedding invitations?
I'm 10/24 too! The making of or incites had been delayed so I'm rushing to get save the dates or now ASAP. Was hoping to skip then and just mail invites really enough but that's not happening now. Most people know when it is, but I'm taking this as an opportunity to make sure they know when, and also that they have the wedding website for info

too early to send wedding invitations?
My wedding is 10/16 as well and I am sending out my invites next week. Mainly for the same reasons, we didn't do save the dates and our hotel has limited rooms for the out of townersWelcome New Vendors
