Does anyone else feel like their wedding is turning into a circus???????
I had planned on having around 250, which is big to begin with, but now the list is up to 320!!!!! I know people say to expect 20% not to come but what if they do???????
I don't want this many people at my wedding!!!!!!!
It's just hard because we both have big families and I have a lot of friends and he has a lot of work friends.
It's not even so much about the money, it's more that I don't want to be so overwhelmed the day of my wedding and have to spend the WHOLE time talking to people.
I want to enjoy my wedding, not have to spend the entire night greeting everyone!!!!!

I figured I eat first and DRINK!!!! And then go down in the middle, stay for a little while and then leave a little before they start making people go in the main room

i feel ur pain...we have 310 invited...and i feel like all those ppl are so close to us, that they wouldnt ever consider missing!!...god i just hope the #'s dont increase...circus

I know the feeling-we figured tops we would invite 150 and get around 120. Now we have 230 on our list

I CAN DEFINETLY RELATE!!! Our wedding started at 314 because both our families are HUGE & i've been raised in my church so they're another family! I came to the conclusion that you just cant invite everyone and people have to understand....most who've had weddings will, and the VERY few that dont(obviously you cant please everyone) will eventually get over it. I was going to leave my number alone, but after my cousin, and another close friend only had between 5 & 10 'no's', i didn't want to risk it! I worked for about two weeks cutting my list, and now it's at a comfortable 244(which i STILL wish was a little smaller but whatever!) I just decided that regardless of paying for all those people, i didn't want to room or the dance floor to be overcrowded & uncomfortable either! good luck!

It is crazy how the list just grows. We went form 180 ppl and now the list is at 223 and we still have 7 1/2 more months to go. I told FH and my parents that 23 ppl need to be put on a B list until we start rcving NO responses. As much as I want a big wedding my wallet only has a certain budget......lol
