There is also that Village Club at Lake Success, from the pictures it looks pretty classy.

Re: Top three 'classiest' reception sites on LI?
I think:
Carltun and Oheka
I don't have a third..of course they are the most expensive as well.

I think you would have had to seen all of the reception site on LI in order to judge. But in my opinion, the Crest Hollow Country Club is one of the most beautiful, classiest places i have seen on LI.

I would say Oheka Bourne Mansion Caltun
Caryle is nice but looks like my house - so it does not seem as classy

I think Oheka, Bourne and Vanderbilt. A 4th would be the Harrison House. I just love old castles and mansions...

I think I'm biased as well, but I have to say Raphael
I had only been to a couple, but from pics, I would have to say Bourne Mansion.

To me - I don't really think classy and costly go together all the time. That seems to be the way this tread is heading. JMO

I disagree...my wedding was $75pp...I think that's pretty reasonable.

Oh - I had heard that Raphael's had a large site fee - but I personally didnt investigate because it was so far from where I live.
ETA - that is reasonable by the way - good job

Re: Top three 'classiest' reception sites on LI?
I have found that the older places are very classy and understated. Westbury Manor, Old Field Club, Bourne Mansion, Harrison House, Coindre Hall, Vanderbuilt Mansion...
