Hi I am so sorry to hear that. Did you look over your contract? There has to be something you can do.
I know of someone who just cancelled a hall in nassau county for a november wedding. Basically, they were told that unless someone else books that date they will lose all the money they put in so far. But if someone else takes the date then they will only lose $100 or something small like that!!
I have friend who is a lawyer.i cansee if I can find out anything else.

Wow, that really stinks.... I would contact a lawyer, or just have the wedding there. If your going to lose money you might as well take your chances. sorry that happened to you... Maybe you can contact other Areca Brides & see what they're doing...
