sorry that this has happened to you! Do you have any clue as to why your father would act like this out of nowhere? There is never a good reason to speak that way to someone, you dont deserve that at all!

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure everything will work itself out with time. I wouldnt cancel the wedding over it. Don't punish yourself because your dad is being a jerk. Feel better

i can empathize with you--i live in the same house as my father and haven't spoken to him in 3 year. he's going to my best friend's wedding where i'm the MOH, but he won't be at mine.

I am so sorry this happened to you! No one has the right to speak to you or degrade you like that, not even parents. I commend you for putting yourself first. No matter where you get married, it will be amazing becuase you are going to marry someone who values and respects you!
