I understand!!! As it gets closer I am freaking out about $$ and I keep thinking we got ourselves in over our head and we went with by far the cheapest place I could find on the cheapest day/time even tho we want a night wedding. Good Luck!!

Thanks for all the concern ladies.
I never wanted a $60K wedding to begin with. Honestly.
Vetro said their Murano room is still open for the nighttime 7:30 start and the min would be 75, max at 100
We would keep our $pp, but reducing our guestlist might be enought o make the difference.

oh Id do that! Its a pretty room and you'd still be able to use the $ you've given them.

Yeah, that would essentially be cutting our gurst list in half and therefore, the venue cost by like $10-15K

I would do it but crunch your numbers first Make sure that it will save you enough money that it is worth it
You are still getting the russo service and their roof top bar is amazing if you have a nice enough night
And you can still use the russo outside garden for pictures too I am sure

Re: :-(
look at the murano room again. seriously pretty and elegant!
go take a peek at George Washington Manor. their big room has tons of windows and is really pretty. its holds a smaller amount of people so you will have to guarantee less. you will get it for $120pp or less. fun options too for cocktail hour like a pannini station etc...
even on a saturday night, the guarantee is less than 100 i believe. this was my fav place but we have too many people to accommodate us there with a 8-piece band.

Re: :-(
yay for the update! hon, I so get the $ thing.
honestly if you can stay there do it. you KNOW the food and service will be amazing and the only thing you're changing is the room really within the venue.

I'm so sorry to hear this Jamie!!!! At the end of the day, all that matters is that you are marrying the man of your dreams....it doesnt matter if you paid 60 or 160 per plate or if there were 100 or 1000 people there.....no matter what you are still going to marry the man you are going to be with forever!!!
If you need anything, dont hesitate to ask

Re: :-(
You could try Bridgeview, my minimum was 150 but they have the smaller room and in September i'm sure it's cheaper than july. It's georgious there! The food is also amazing!!!
