yow-zah! you ladies are paying crazy money for your wedding. i spent $20,000 K from the invities to our honeymoon and we had 175 guests at our wedding. you can TOTALLY hagve a wedding, and a nice one, at that for far less than these amounts. you just need to be creative and stick to a budget.

with EVERYTHING..including tipping, bp gifts, etc..we spent between 50 - 60k...this was with finding really great deals, cutting back on some things, and really not going 'OVER THE TOP'(dont get me wrong - we had a BEAUTIFUL wedding..but we by no means went crazy with things..we searched for deals)..we even had our wedding on a friday night in december.... it was mainly because we have huge HUGE families so our guestlist was almost 300people...we also had a large bridal party..so that's where the numbers started to really add up. we paid for the entire thing ourselves...
Unfortunately being that my reception place is over $200 pp ours will be expensive. It stressed me out.

being able to get married in feb also probably helped you keep costs down...
less than 40, me personally wouldnt spend that on a wedding. you can have a fabulous wedding for less. just my opinion.
about 20-25k
With everything including HM we are looking at 15,000. We have gotten some really good deals and although our family and friends have not been able to help financially they are helping in other ways. We opted not to have a florist after they told me it would be $14.00 per stem for Cala Lilies do my mom is doing all of our flower arrangments with silk flowers and a friend of ours is going to decorate our reception hall as our gift.

wellllllllllllllllll under $40k.... We got an awesome price for our hall, and wanted a winter wedding. My dress was a steal. I would say we will be around $30k when it's all said and done.
my ammount wasnt there we spent just under 19K
i'm close to 75-80k once its all said and done
The max we are planning on spending is 25k...thats it...lol. Considering we are doing everything on our own. Thats excluding our HM. On our HM the most we want to spend is 3k.
i am trying to be cheap but you know what ... im a teacher and so that ruled out getting married during the school year which left us with july and august which makes life expensive ... then when you have a big family on both sides (the bride and groom) and tons of friends again this makes like difficult ... but you know what we are getting help from both parents. we are not going crazy over board with everything else butttt the cateringhall yep im def over budget!
