Traditional vows or writing your own Poll?

I think we are going with the traditional vows... just curious as to what everyone is doing...

Both, we are doing some traditional and some of our own.

We are writing our own, but will also use some of the traditional.
For example, after we say our own, the officiant will say:
Do you __ take ___ to be your wife....

FH wants us to write our own and he already kinda knows what he's gonna say!! I know how I feel but I have no idea what words to use to express that, it'll be a project for me when I finally sit down and try to figure this one out!!!

Traditional. I suggested writing our own, and he said he's not good at that kind of thing.

definitely traditional...i'd be too nervous/selfconscious to read something personal

on another note, the pastor better be saying it verrrrry slow or i'll probably flub reciting it!

Traditional but would love to write my own but i would be so nervous or worried that i would forget to say something that i wanted too! Fh says its to much pressure!!!

Traditional, I'm a sucker for tradition. I don't think I could come up with anything a sweet and as beautiful as the original vows.

As much as I tend to have a gift for writing meaningful and sappy things, we plan on sticking to a traditional Jewish ceremony. It will be hard enough to repeat in English AND in Hebrew but to add my own vows to the mix just asks for a major flub on my part.
